Since 2011, Bullies 2 the Rescue has rescued and rehabilitated abused, abandoned, sick and unwanted dogs. A is a 501(c)(3) corporation, B2TR provides each animal with veterinary care, rehabilitation, and training to prepare them for placement permanent homes. Using a network of dedicated volunteers, B2TR relies on caring individuals to help transport these bulldogs to rescue and to permanent homes as well as to foster each dog while they are under rescue care.
Bullies 2 the Rescue is based out of Indian Trail, North Carolina and expanded to Alabama in 2014. As part of the Alabama volunteer group, Bulldog Bling is dedicated to raising funds to assist B2TR in covering foster, medical care, and rehabilitation costs. Each year the bulldog breed grows in popularity, leading more bulldogs to be abandoned due to behaviors, illness, or owners uneducated in the special needs of the breed. Each year B2TR takes in dog after dog and covers the cost of their medical and foster care with funds raised by events and their affiliated store, Carolina Pet Pantry.
